Join the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center and Killer Food Plots staff to learn how to trail hunt whitetails and better manage your property for wildlife habitat.


Participants will learn the skills needed to successfully transition from bait hunting to trail hunting whitetails as well as what is known about chronic wasting disease and the risks associated with disease transmission.


This class will cover how to find places to hunt using online maps and gear you will need, and laws and regulations. It will include time in the field with instructors showing you where and how to set up and how to use scents and deer sign to improve your chances of bagging a whitetail.


The cost for this class is $25, which includes lunch, training and materials.

Participation is limited to 50.
